Test Paddling

We think we've found the ultimate paddling spot in the HRM! Our showroom and test paddle facilities on the beautiful shores of Lake Banook are open year round, with test paddling everyday from Victoria Day Weekend to Thanksgiving Weekend (depending upon weather and water temperature). This paddling season will begin before you know it so don't fret! Test paddling is your opportunity to try a beautiful Swift canoe or kayak before you buy it!

Jane and I believe you're not just buying a boat, you're investing in a way of life so test paddling our boats is crucial. By test paddling we can help you to decide which Swift boat is right for you. Unlike other canoe and kayak retailers we don't bring in one large order in the spring meaning, not only are you forced to choose from what is in stock but when the boats are gone, they're gone. At Paddle East you place your order with just half down and pay the remainder when you pick up your new boat in 4 to 6 weeks. Once you pickup your boat we give you 30 days, the Swift "30 day Guaranteed Fit Policy", to paddle it in your conditions, to ensure we've put you in the right boat, if not, we'll make it right! (like no one else does...ask us how) All this means you get 'YOUR' custom boat meant to fit your wants and needs! We attempt to keep a minimum of one of each of Swift's models in stock for test paddling purposes. Please call to confirm availability if you have a particular model in mind.
