Atlantic Canadian Paddling Symposium
Paddle Canada together with our Regional Member Associations invite you to attend the annual Atlantic Canadian Paddling Symposium details of the next symposium will be posted when available.
This event draws on the expertise of some of the nation's top instructors to explore current developments in paddling and celebrate our Canadian Paddling Heritage.
Join us for a weekend of skill development, instructor professional development, stories, entertainment, paddling, news and information and, most importantly, fun.
Sessions will focus on all disciplines of paddling including sea kayaking, river kayaking and canoeing. Symposium Details

Atlantic Canada Sea Kayakers Meeting 2010...June 2010 at Coastal Adventures in Tangiers
Join us for Atlantic Canada's premier sea paddling get-together, an opportunity for all those active in this growing sport to meet, mingle and exchange ideas. There will be slide presentations, safety demos and updates in this continually evolving sport. Most of all, we will be on the water. On Saturday we will visit the offshore islands (and the seals and sea birds) during a choice of trips of varying lengths and difficulties. We finish the day with a traditional church supper. Sunday is devoted to improving your kayaking skills with sessions on paddling strokes, rescues and navigation. New clinics this year include rock hopping and an introduction to surfing.
National Canoe Day 2010...A Celebration Of The Canoe - Halifax Nova Scotia

Canoe Kayak Nova Scotia in partnership with the Fairbanks Center are hosting the "Celebration of the Canoe" National Canoe Day 2010.
The family oriented festivities are scheduled to take place Saturday,June 26 at the Fairbanks Center (50 Lockes Rd, Dartmouth).
We are in the planning stages at present and have many surprises in store for you. Keep an eye on the Canoe Kayak Nova Scotia website (www.ckns.ca) as well as this website for details as plans for the day are solidified.
MEC Halifax Paddlefest 2010... Come and join us, Saturday July 10th, in this free event that celebrates canoeing and kayaking with free on-land and on-water workshops. Be prepared to get wet and bring a change of clothes. This is a family-friendly event...details!
